May I make 2 suggestions please?

1st. That you introduce each story with the phrase "This story does not contain adultery so please find another authors story if that is what you are looking for.

2nd. Bring in some setting/ surround like::

I was worried. Yesterday, Sue, sitting beside me on the garden swing seat that we had purchased last week said, "Ian. there are going to be some changes in your life tomorrow." Then my wife refused to add anything except "You will like them!"

That swing seat was a semi expensive item that we had treated ourselves to on a day out.:::

Get the idea? Readers now have have an anchorage for there thoughts.

A couple, not poor but not weathy enough to spend money on garden furniture without thinking about the price.

Their ages, married history, etc unknown at this point but can be hinted or revealed during the story to keep grounded.

include meals, hobbies and all the other things that make our lives. SEX is good, probaly vital. Just sex though? No that is as unsatisfying, in a story as it is in real life.
