I recall reading and scoring this story of your around 2014. However, I had not joined Lit. at that point so I was unable to or didn’t know enough how to comment. This was and always be a Great Erotic story. You have deep to your characters in all of your stories. I enjoyed rereading this chapter to refresh my memory. After having read several of your wonderful stories the way you link past and present stories and characters is fabulous. The so-called “age of consent” has definitely increased in most locations over the last 100 years or so. Perhaps as lifespan has increased the need to start life at an early age has been mitigated? I don't know, but world laws, almost universally, now require that we deny the sexuality of people who have reached puberty until they are at some arbitrary age, at least between them and someone older than (usually) 18.

Several years ago, we visited the “Laura plantation” (spelling?) near New Orleans. “Laura” inherited the plantation, along with its slaves, at the age of (if I remember right) 13 and operated that plantation for years before selling it. The part that I remembered which pertains to this discussion was that on one display it said the average girl/woman in that area, at that time (1700’s), had her first baby by the age of 12 and averaged 12 babies by the time she was 25. Combine that with the quotation from Wikipedia “In 1880, the ages of consent were set at 10 or 12 in most states, with the exception of Delaware where it was 7.” (SEVEN!!!! OMG) Translated, this says that in the United States it is only in the 20th / 21st century that we try to prohibit sex between people who have reached puberty. (Don't get me wrong, I am not arguing for or against this, I am just stating facts.)

Although I do disagree with your evaluation about the age of consent worldwide. The vast majority of states and countries have an 18-year-old age limit for consensual sex between someone “much” older and someone under that age. The age of consent for consensual sex between those of similar ages (EG:15 and 16, or 14 and 17, but not 19 and 13) is indeed quite commonly less than 18. In the United States and its trust territories, “the age of consent” (a phrase that is commonly not found in the actual laws) between older and youngercpartners, is the age of 16 in 19 states, 17 in 6 states, and the age of 18 in 29 states – 53% being the vast majority of the locations. Looking at the data worldwide, I didn’t tally those results, but it is quite similar. Although there are exceptions, most of the time any "age of consent" under the age of 18 is only for people of approximately the same age.

Now, as for the business of Sara being “19”, read on McDuff! You observed what I had hoped you would observe, and I think you will find the anomaly explained in Part 2.

Hi BenLong, No, in 6 out of 7 continents it is NOT illegal to have sex under 18. Most Western countries, with the sole exception of the United States, the age of consent is either 15 or 16. (Actually lower in Eastern countries but we won't tackle that!) However, to work in the Sex Industry requires the person to be an adult. ie 18 years of age. Then they can sign contracts etc. To avoid legal issues Literotica has placed the minimum age for sex acts between adults to be 18. That's fair enough. No Lolita stories! LOL. So this business of Sara turning 19 is even more strange. As an adult at 18 she can obviously marry without needing parent's permission and, of course, definitely have sex.

And remember, if it's from Anonymous, it doesn't really count, especially when it's mostly caps and arguing with a character. Keep up the excellent work.

Yes, there is to be a sequel, I just haven't completed and posted it yet. This story was against the timeline of the Nude Day contest and literally was posted as-is within minutes of the deadline, so the complete story never got completed. Maybe someday...

Yes, you're correct, that Debs 'set up' of the encounter without pre-clearing it with Jim was a bit unusual. That is to be clarified in the second part, which would have been the first part, except that my part was only part...

It seems pretty obvious that I've struck a negative chord with someone anonymous. After 9 years, a single negative comment? Well, actually two, but I've deleted the first as the only difference from the second one you posted is that it doesn't include "STOP WRITING such STUPID THINGS!" I'm assuming you realize that ALL CAPS IS THE EQUIVALENT OF SHOUTING, but in case you don't, you do now.

So whether you think it's "stupid", whether you think it happens, I have seen repeatedly over the years that it does. Let's face it, men do things differently than women. To comment on that as part of a story - ah come on, it's ONLY a story.

A few years back, one of the "reality" TV shows, Men vs Women on an island, was evaluated for how the men and women interacted. The men, as soon as they were there, began investigating the surroundings, deciding what needed to be done, making assignments. By the end of day one they had found a water supply, the rudiments of food, had begun making a shelter - and had absolutely no knowledge of their co-players.

The women, ignored all that. They found out who had kids, what they did "elsewhere", who had problems, why they were there, etc., and at the end of the day had nowhere to sleep, no food, hadn't found water.

They also found that by the end of the week, both sides had accomplished all the same things; they all had shelter, food, water, and they had all learned about their fellow competitors. Both men and women did the same things, just in different order.

Admittedly I have said "Anyone know where the restroom is" and heard, "Hold on, I've got to go too" from someone, but two or three times in my life doesn't constitute "all" the time. It is the exception, not the rule.

However, with the experience of more than half a century of watching, with women it is just the opposite. It's the rule, not the exception.

And then for me to make an assumption, a comment, about something I've never participated in? Again, it is ONLY a story.
