The only thing I would add is even more madness of the sister, so that not only the brother but also the reader would be afraid of her

Um, I know she's a little bit psycho as the ending suggests. But homegirl literally came round to his house, cleaned it, took care of him and told him she was moving in to keep him healthy and happy.

Yandere or not, girl's a keeper.

Throughout the last 2 chapters of the story it's obvious that the real villain of this story is Steve. Try not to be like Steve.
