I don't know if the story is any good or not. I stopped reading at the "Nabiola from Tuscany" because the one thing worse than a pretentious wine showoff is an ignorant pretentious wine showoff. If you're that bad at the simple things, it's not likely the story will be very good.

FWIW it's Nebbiolo, it comes from the Piedmont, and it's a grape, not a wine. You'd get a bottle of Barolo or, if you drink in my usual more modest price range, a bottle of Barbaresco.
