Good story, great concept. I hope she didnt get five years though. For a reduced sentence that would seem a bit harsh, unless its a repeat offence or she hurt someone badly. Maybe six months if its damage-only or minor injury (it is a reduced sentence after all). But still a great story, really entertaining.

@gortmundy Thanks! Your 'Tattooed Woman' is one of the series I'm always glad to see another episode of so I feel very flattered that you liked this one.

Regarding the 5 years? Might be a bit much, but I was assuming that slavery would need at least a year, so it had to be heading into the felony range. For some reason Texas was the state I glanced at, and saw that any injury caused while DWI can carry 2-10 years even for a first offence so I plumped for the middle. Good job I'm not a judge :)
