Master King is going to discuss with me about Operant conditioning. He will explain about positive and negative reinforcement and positive and negative punishment. This in relation to behaviour he expects me to exhibit as his slave. I know this is not just sexual but I want to understand that part too of course. I know he has taken my virginity now but in a beautiful way. He said this was a reward. The reward he explains was simply that he has been pleased with my research and what progress I have been able to make in discovering the ring's secrets.

So apart from the link the ring has to Domination and Submission he is rewarding me for non sexual behaviour and simply being the best research student I can be. The reward however was sexual. It certainly makes me want to work hard but that is my natural inclination but now I have an additional incentive on top. He is also rewarding me for my daily devotion to him. He values that as highly as my research effort. So it's clear for me. If I continue doing good research but slip up in daily devotion there may still be a punishment. I just want it to be fair.

There is some science behind this. We both like science. On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behaviour becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact. And how long it takes a new habit to form can vary widely depending on the behaviour, the person, and the circumstances.

In Lally's study, it took anywhere from 18 days to 254 days for people to form a new habit. So I guess with around 35 days of signing up to be his slave I am above average. This does not surprise me. When I want to learn something I like and understand then it is a no brainer for me. BDSM was totally new. But it is a complex and very varied area.

My Master has asked me to look at it in different ways. He has also provided me with a play list of certain songs he wants me to listen too. He has always has a great attention to detail which applies to every area he works in. This is very similar to the way I think and work which I think is a big part of this mutual attraction we have. It does seem obvious of course but he has also taught me that sometimes things are not what they seem. How true I have found that in life many times.

He is also going to go though with me in detail the negotiated boundaries contract with me and he mentions this is the perfect opportunity for both of us to understand each other's needs and also kinks so I have been thinking about this a lot. Starting to work in the pub has been both scary and exciting at the same time.

If I ever needed to be taken out of my shell working in the bar in particular with Sophie was just the perfect solution. When Veronica started it was initially difficult for Sophie to adjust but it soon became clear that Veronica was both very experienced but also very loyal and appreciative of her staff. Heading into the busy Christmas period between the University course work, my work as a research assistant which was almost exclusively focused on further research into the ring but it was looking that a theses developing on Egyptian succession lines was about to be turned on it's head.

At the quiet moments, usually these days in my bedroom in the upstairs rooms at the pub rather than at Sophie's flat, I find the time to think about my relationship with Master Frank. At times I doubt that I am 'good enough' for him. But that's not really what I mean. It's about if I am able to become the sub that he wants. It is not that he has ever given me reason to doubt that I am but there is this nagging doubt. Maybe I just need to get laid.

Since working in the bar there has been no shortage of offers of I should correct that and say 'potential offers', some guys are just horny bags of hormones with zero style or charisma. There is also my sister legs and Veronica that can deflect that sort of stuff with a look or humiliating put down. I also think about the geek in my group who is making me more uncomfortable but I really do not want to go back to being the 'mousy' covered up Michelle of old. Both Sophie but in particular the professor have shown me that my sexuality is my birthright and I am much more comfortable about my body and 'flaunting' it as Sophie puts it.

The Professor has asked me to work on a psyche evaluation using my other area of expertise psychology. In thinking about the questionnaire I am brought back to thinking about Alderian Psychology and personality and disposition which is termed 'lifestyle' is a choice so am I choosing a BDSM lifestyle? Lifestyle is the tendencies of thought and action in life. How one sees the world. And how one sees oneself. In Alderian psychology, however lifestyle is something you choose for yourself.

In discussions re the Negotiated Boundary contract we have already ruled out a lot of the more extreme BDSM kinks in being something neither of us are very interested in. He has mentioned sadism to me and just mentioned he is a sadist and his sub would need to be able to understand and accept that need in him. He did not give any more details but I think this new hire he mentioned and something about this damn game that I know worries him but also know he is keeping Sophie and myself safe. Thinking of Sophie Master also has clearly indicated that a fantasy for him is a threesome with a sexy brunette and a sexy blond. Michelle had to smile when she thought about the Professor 'statue' and Sophie's quip about the 'menage a trois'. With the statue still back in Sophie's bedroom whilst they had been sleeping in the pub bedrooms these last few nights he was probably missing them.

With Christmas on the horizon and with Veronica now working in the bar I plan to discuss with Mike and her if Sophie and I can have a day off and we can plan an early Christmas treat for the Professor. She would gift him the manage a trois after all, and as it was her Master she had something special in mind exploring one of her own kinks too inpired by the copy of Bondage Life with her likeness on the cover that seemed an age ago. Surprising her had always been a special treat for her. It was time to show her appreciation by surprising him.
