Now he is 18 and she is 18 years older than him.

How did she lose 4 years? A good story has to have continuity.

She was 24 in the first story, and Craig was 32.

She was 37 in the second, and Barry was 19.

Please point out any errors you find in this.

Premise OK.

But too short. Barely a scent, no less a chapter.

Seems to move ahead much too rapidly. Needs to slow down, go step by step, with more details.
