The characters in a Christmas story called Joy and Carol---had to be more than a coincidence! A excellent short story and well written, a pleasure to read. There was one spot where you wrote 'Carol' when you meant 'Joy'---not a serious error, just one that leaps off the page. I'm not really sure the story needs a sequel as another comment suggested, it stands well as it is. Still, you might like to think about it. Five stars for this one. (Good job Joy's dad liked frosting his windows at Christmas, though.)

I really enjoyed reading this story...almost made myself late for work to finish. Love the rekindled friendship and subsequent romance. A 5 stars for me.

BUT, I had to remind myself that this is fiction and the author's universe...sex in a retail store, no security person roaming around(?)....no surveillance equipment(?)...Mmmm

Anywho strong stand alone, but I'd read a sequel on "Joy" & "Carol." Thanks for sharing :)

Such a dilemma: it deserves 5* for being such a lovely, positive and sexy story.... But the clunky style brings it down a little.
