Congrats on your first story. There are a number of questions that could be asked (such as, if they left 275 million years ago, how are they from the future?), but a lot of humor to make up for that, including their ship (Austin Powers, anyone?). Finally, the last line was both hilarious and sobering. Nice job.

Ah,,, I see. Yes. The implication I meant to come to is that Rex & Carly are every bit earthlings as Paige & John -- that the earth keeps resetting as life becomes extinct on our lonely planet. Then, after millions of years of dormancy, life sprouts anew and bipedal morons such as ourselves keep evolving to the point were we fuck things up over and over. ...But each time we climb out of the primordial ooze, we just aren't that different from the previous version of "us.". My bad for not being clearer there. And thanks so much for your feedback btw. This was just a fun story I concocted one morning, so I'm sure there many be other mistakes. Thanks again. I hope you enjoyed it. :)
