It’s definitely still a fascinating read even if it’s just for the sex & politics thing. There are obvious flaws with the system but there always will be with any governing system. It does require a certain level of ‘suspension of disbelief’ but that’s in the nature of fantasy. I definitely wouldn’t be looking for a political career if I lived there, a highly stressful job and no choice of who I want to have sex with? Doesn’t sound ideal. You have a great imagination, nice touch with the introductory paragraphs with that appearance of bureaucracy.
