I originally had it mapped out (spoiler alert) that Candice would discover Brigit and Simon together in chapter 3, and then for Candice to be involved in chapter 4. However, after reading the comments for chapter 2, I agree with all the readers that are excited to see Candice either seduce, or be seduced. I regret my pacing and I think it was a bad decision to make everyone wait until chapter 4 for the payoff.
