You have detached any normal emotional reaction. Personally, I don't see how after hearing Marie and David having sex that Ben doesn't feel jealosy, angry, or any sense of betrayal. I agree with the other comments. Specifically about saying she loves him only after 3 months...end of the marriage...I thought they had only been discussing it for 3 months.
