A real let-down at the end. 4 very strong chapters and a good start on 5, but after her marriage it goes off the rails. I was really hoping she’d at least visit poor Dwayne in jail. 4 stars because the saga is so good overall, but could have been 5.

This should have been more like the Ransom of Red Chief, where Harriet is SO annoying that her kidnappers wind up paying her parents to take her back...
