First off - drop the "this is a true story" line. No one believes a word coming out of your mouth and it does nothing for the story itself by starting out with blatant lies. Second off, many of us lived thru the 60's and 70's. I happened to be at the heart of it. San Francisco in the 60's. The Summer of Love in 1968. But for all the free love, I realized that when I grew up, swapping was for those few that had no moral compass and couldn't seem to form a commitment to one person. Not good people. Most of use grew up and moved on. Sounds like you didn't. As for this silly story? Standard cheaters faire. Can't honor their marriage vows and so seeking adventure in other people's beds. Either disease or boredom will catch up to them and then they'll be divorced and free to fuck anything that moves. Thoroughly unlikeable characters doing inane things that made for an uninteresting story. Just plain lousy story telling.
