Lovely story, beautifully told. I wish working in an office was as easy and simple as you describe, but that's merely the framework for the period of extended contact between the protagonist and her two kittens.

I would welcome a Part 3, but certainly understand if you've brought this story to a close. The waitress in the breakfast eatery is a nice touch.
