We lay like that for a few more minutes before my knees told me to get back into bed. So I scampered back up next to Roger pulling the blanket over us both. I rest my head on his chest and absentmindedly played with his belly hair wondering who would speak first, and what would we say.
Instead, sleep took us both and when I woke up, there was the toilet flush and another forgotten night.

Exluke19 months agoYea I agree with the Tenderness tag being ideal. They are now only able to privately confirm their love for each other one night a week. Interesting that it sounds like only one of them may be be drunk when the other gets home and decides to share a bed. I’d be curious to know where this goes in the next 6-12 months. Are they more hesitant to acknowledge their feelings for each other to minimize the risk of hurting their friendship or Roger openly accepting that he is Bi (even if it’s just for Todd and only shared between the two of them)?
