This outstanding story concludes with this chapter, but to be properly appreciated it should be read from Chapter 1. The 40th Birthday is a truly wonderful drama of two people in love, and is much a Romance as it is an Erotic Couplings story. What makes this story so special is that it manages to merge these two genres into one harmonious whole from start to finish. The skilful story-telling of the author also keeps each chapter of the story fresh, and truly holds the attention of the reader throughout. Five stars for a truly exceptional story.
