Your story really struck a chord for me. This story is so eerily similar to something that happened to me. I think I resisted thinking about my behavior in the same way that you did because it bothers me to think of myself as a submissive Asian woman, even if it's just in the bedroom.

As a Dom I think of it as Sad that she doesn't obviously get the fulfillment from her Husband that she got from Graham but it is even worse that it was taken to far of a an extreme as Graham wasn't a True Dom but more of a Sadist. So often there are Arrogant jerks who go to far and abuse a woman in Domineering them to the point of Abuse and just as it was too far for this woman so she ends up in a unfulfilling relationship overly compensating by going to the other extreme. Maybe if her husband were to read her stories and actually Listen to her and get her to Totally open up he might be able to step up and be more Assertive and possibly roleplay a little so she could enjoy some of the forbidden and/or Taboo that excites her. If she Truly did Learn More about herself then she could Fully open up and be 100% Honest with her Husband as that is the one thing Graham pushed her on correctly in that then she would take the risk of losing him but the reward of Opening up would be so Rewarding as their would be No Barriers and she would have Walked thru and conquered her Fears. Instead she is More Restricted and Controlled by those Fears then ever before so she still has the Lingering attraction she blames on Race when it is Not nearly that as it is Her culmination of it all of her life experiences, her choices, her role growing up, and her race but Also Her choices with How she deals with it. So like allot of people she ends up taking the easier, softer way and makes Excuses and justifies the result. I am left thinking that either she will end up Divorced or Sad and certainly Won't get the Most out of her Relationship with her husband. Maybe she will have to learn the hard way as I did so that later in life she can be Happy with All of herself and not just settle as so often people do. Or worse she will end up Alone like my mother and will only have memories as now the only thing she has left is to put her energies into being friends to people; but Never having a Real "Soulmate" that she can be One with..

Good story but the therapist needs to be struck off telling her she’s in a BDSM relationship is an outright lie 1st she didn’t know 2nd she’s never been offered a safe word 3rd an most important is BDSM is built on 3 criteria SAFE SANE and CONSENSUAL this relationship was none if u really think about it
