"I was really going to kill you, you know that right?" Kathy said to Dedee.
"Yeah, I felt that. I will never do you like that girl, I swear," Dedee told her with sincerity in her voice.
"You sure you changed your mind? She can be a pain in the ass at times," Catori said as she laughed handing the pitchfork back to Kathy now.
The girls were laughing and standing in front of the Colt and Lightning Bolts stall when Wade and Leroy walked into the stable.
"I was thinking Trouble, that would be a good name for him," Wade said as they approached.
Everybody agreed as Kathy went to slice apples for the two horses.
That night Kathy slept in total peace. Wade was hers, her dream job was in her lap, and there was no more chance of blackmail.
