A Noble by Birth?

Is s/he even subject too an arranged marriage? I would think that the noble houses of the late Victorian age would have raised money through arrg marriages with newly wealthy industrialists. My title for your money by way of your common daughter. But Jules was noble by birth. So is an out for Jewel an annulment? But is s/he so broken that only Jewel remains?
