Anonymousover 2 years agoWow, twisted! I would love to see some moral redemption start to develop in both characters. Charlene would be much easier to relate to if she started to have doubts, and started to forgive the bully. Likewise, the bully could start to repent for his crappy life, and how the anger is processed from all involved could be interesting and maybe at times, heart warming... Regardless, ignore all that and please continue how you wish! :)

As you said, darker than usual. Given the lead-in and build-up, the outcome isn't too surprising. As a reader, I'm really appreciative you used so much narration of the characters' thoughts & feelings, that kept nastiness more at arms length.

Maybe all rapist should be treated like that and then after some final results, like body modification and brain washing, they have to work in a brothel ...... Anonymousover 1 year agoReally loved this story. My only critique would be that it happened to a primary school bully. You mentioned he was still a shithead, and added that he worked for the mafia, he's a criminal, but if you're a shithead by primary school, and never learned from it, it was awful parenting / horrible life experiences. Even mostly awful justice systems don't charge people for things done uner 16 years old let alone things done under 10 years old. I think instant death is less cruel than prolonged torture, and if he's still awful and still doing awful things, sure, remove him from society, but instantaneously. Again, thought the idea and execution of the story were amazing. I just would have written Billy to have made his decisions later in life. Still would give it 5 out of 5, incredible writing, just don't want to torture who's upbring tortured / fucked them up enough already
hindsight20209 months agoWhy the special punishment for a run of the mill bully? You could have the MC wait until the people who killed his friend were accessible. Or better make it so he gets to them while they are under house arrest and come out as bimbos.
