I feel so very sorry for Kevon. This cheating skank has made the determination to wreck his life with a short term marriage, betrayal and divorce. She has made a firm decision to enter this marriage in bad faith. What a bitch.

Mmm...some of this is really hard to read, in how it paints Cynthia: she's detached and sometimes amazingly uncaring. Readers see some feminine aspects to her (cooking, cleaning the kitchen, being fresh before engaging in sex) but she also degrades Kevon by insinuating she can literally "lead him around by the dick" (i.e., the under-the-table-restaurant blowjob that got her the beautiful engagement ring); although she calls him "smart," how much she fucks him blinds him to her true nature--which bothers me so much I had to look up the clinical definitions--which support she possesses 2/8 sociopathic qualities and 2/8 narcissistic qualities (especially the highly manipulative nature). While I pointed out some glimmers of hope for her, they are so brief and her personal agenda overshadows the chance for her to use those realizations to effect changes: regarding possible "humanizing factors" on a scale of 1-10, it's perhaps a 2; regarding the manipulation and seemingly clinical detachment, an 8. It's so serious that she really sounds far more like a man trying to have as many conquests as she can, with the more notches in her belt the better. I'd say the other poster/commenter is partly right and partly wrong--mainly because she's not trying to wreck Kevon's life--but because she thinks she has him fooled, and could possibly pull off fooling society too. If he ever finds out, it will devastate him and I wouldn't be surprised if he drew her up and quartered her, as that's how I already feel about her. This says nothing of how his friends will react, as this sets up a huge possible showdown in which they all fall upon her like a crazed wolf pack that will tear her apart if she doesn't soften up.

I'm rating this a 4, based on the assumption the goal is to show Cynthia as a bona-fide b***h, perhaps even as an extreme example. However, her character is so distasteful that tolerating her proves difficult.

Hmmmm. Perhaps, in trying to paint Cynthia as a four star bitch, I've overreached? I know a lot of women like Cynthia, you know, perfect little girlfriends while the man is around, but real cunts when he isn't. Cynthia is an amalgamation of several women I know (and dislike) personally. Maybe I've allowed my dislike for these women to paint Cynthia unfairly. However, several of these sexual vignettes come from the horse's mouth. These things happened. I've received a lot of negative feedback about her character when what I really want is a critique of the writing about her character.

If your goal was to paint her as 4-star "bitch," you exceeded that expectation and created a 5-star one. If she embodies traits of several females you know personally, I hope I never meet one of them, as I would only want to slap Cynthia into next week! She's despicable in every way. If you were trying to paint a flawed character, she appears beyond redeeming in how she's described. If as an example, PGAD were driving her crazy, but she was trying to work it off through hard workouts, running 5-10 miles, trying to calm herself with essential oils, doing some kind of relaxation therapy, seeing a psychologist...she would seem to be trying combat it in every way possible and yet still be suffering from something she cannot control, and then relieving herself would be viewed as a last resort.

She's a cunt. I think I foreshadowed her flaws in "The Wedding" series. She is, by far, the most unsympathetic character I've created. She's a good looking cunt, too, which makes her all the more dangerous. In "The Wedding" I made a passing reference to her being willing to have sex with Artie, a close friend of her husband. It is Artie that vetoes that idea. However, I've been considering re-starting Artie's thing with Lisa, and then he'll have to deal with Cynthia again. Will he hold on to his Man Code? Because Cynthia will test him.

I am Bardot. I became interested in this genre as a teenager sneaking peeks into the romance novels strewn around the homes of women in my family. The sexually interesting parts could always be found at the ends of each chapter. To me, those books were never descriptiv...
