There are a couple of tense issues and some misspellings and being hyper critical a tad of repartition, but none of which spoiled the read. For your second story a great try, it deserves more than the 1392 views it has had when I read it.

A true story has a certain feel about it that pure fiction just can't generate and this has it in abundance.
