Nice story it almost felt like France. We Americans do come off as Puritans when brushing up with Europe. Truth be told no one in France cares if an 18 year old is drinking, especially if it is wine with dinner and the only arrangement needed to have a bottle of wine in a river cruise cabin is to have a bottle of wine.

What a lovely older/younger coming out story. The family connection made it even more sweet. You handled it very sensitively, including the encounter with the lesbian couple who added a strong and erotic affirmation to the new Sapphic path that Mel and Beth had started down so cautiously. Their lives will be much richer and certainly less confusing moving forward. Thank you.
