What a heartwarming story and man this guy couldn't catch a break. Too bad he died and didn't live to old age for what was done to him

Stoney!~! You outdid yourself on this one! Being a session and recording picker for a loooong ass time,

you hooked me on this page-turner!! A lot was true to the industry and you filled in the blanks well!!

Wow fantastic story so sad at the end I’m shocked he died made me cry wish I could’ve given ten or even twenty stars

I can’t understand why the site won’t let me rate you in stars but I give you five. This was the best story you have written. Robbie had a tough time but came through it and you handled the whole story well. I was distressed when you started talking about Robbie’s secret and cried when he died. It then, I always love a love story. Keep up the good work. MtM

Wonderful story 5 stars.

One annoying thing; the only thing I didn't like were the tidbits for use to think the story went one way then it went another way.

Great story

Would have been so much better if the secret had been a love child and he'd been cheating on Dawn.

The problem with stories related to the music industry is that everyone knows that it's just not true. Not only are the true A listers so small a group that you'd probably know of, or at least recognise, everyone from the last 50 years. Country and pop combined. Also the number of country performers who have broken through to the pop charts is so small as to be ridiculous not to know them.

Thank you again Stoney, a story well told! From childhood on the two things I loved most were music and reading (both inspired by my folks). They even inspired my next two favorites, soup making and wood working. Family is important, another reason I enjoy the story. 5 stars, wish it could be more!

Financially he did amazingly well for such little success. Sure the story is a fantasy, but at least it could try to be realistic.
