My father smirked, and it was not one of those evil ones that he made when we were sparring, this one really did have plenty of mischief, laced with excitement.

"Follow me. Be mindful though. I'm afraid the stairs are a little old," he said, while lighting a torch kept at the entrance.

Soon the light from the torch lit up the corridor.

And into the unknown I followed my father.
