"George... are you sure... I can sleep on the sofa..."
I kiss her again to shut her up.
"Chloe, belt up. We have already established that the sofa is not comfortable and... "
I pause and grin at her.
"... anyway I like cuddling with you and it helps me sleep... and... according to you I need my beauty sleep at my age."
She smiles tenderly up at me and strokes my cheek as she shakes her head.
"You are a beautiful person already George Reynolds... just beautiful."
She reached up to kiss me softly on the lips before waving a demanding finger.
"Now go and warm the bed up for me I just need to go to the bathroom."

laad4e08over 4 years agoPlease continue, there does seem to be a lot of telegraphing to who Chloe might really be. The characters or good and the way the relationship is developing feels organic.
Would love to see him finish the book have it be a success and help her out and maybe keep her.
