Anonymousabout 1 year agoThe author of this story (who is excellent) is correct; this chapter is NOT a stand-alone story, and this chapter 9 needs to be read after the previous ones, starting, of course, with chapter one. That said, this chapter has plenty of intrigue as the adventure begins to unfold. The pacing of the story here is carefully done, and not rushed, and the attention to detail is excellent. In addition to the introduction of the new character Louisa, this chapter also leave the reader on edge, truly wanting to find out where this new adventure might lead. If the author's excellent punctuality in the past at getting new chapters out is any indication, then fortunate readers won't have to wait too long to find out. Five stars for excellent writing and storytelling!
