Second time reading this story. It's just so much fun. Love the playful dominance. You've got a nice sense of humor. The knight in the first scene, finding an excuse to gossip with the princess, "I suppose, my lady, that it would not be too much of a transgression to share these tidings with a person of your integrity. You are, after all, too wise to believe in them, and too honourable to repeat them to anyone..." Ha! And the observant horse was comedy gold.
