Switching between perspectives like that is a no-no. It's amateurish and it ruins absolutely everything. It reduces the story to a collection of decriptions.

yeah, could have been pretty compelling story, but the constant POV changes made it basically little more than a jumbled mess of story fragments, each 'interruption' taking the reader out of immersion. This is why 3rd person is a thing.
