I’ve enjoyed both authors’ work. Fun to read a collab. The change in style in the middle might be a bit jarring for people who don’t know your work. But overall great baton passing. P

While Emily and I have collaborated before, most notably on my story The Devil And Angel Em, the normal process has been that one of us is writing the story, the other beta reading, offering suggestions, feedback, constructive criticism etc.

This time, Emily sent me the first chunk of this story and instead of simply asking for feedback or ideas, suggested I just go ahead and write the next part. Just for fun.

And so I did.

I thought that might be the ending, but Emily thought it was too short and my scene inspired one more from her, so she closed it out.

While we have different writing styles, I think we have similar sensibilities in our methods of storytelling.

Whether this little experiment succeeds or fails will be up to you, the readers, of course.

But it was a lot of fun to try something new. And I wanna thank Emily for letting me be a part of it.

Remarkable. Hot, scalding hot. The descriptions of each scene just kept building in intensity. Any more scenes, and I'd be expecting the cops to break down the door after the neighbors' called to complain or perhaps firemen shoving a hose in some orifice to quench her internal heat. Such a woman ... only in one's dreams. No wonder the poor guy felt angst at possibly losing her.
