Definitely a well written story with much potential for future development, but somewhat sinister as well--actually a bit chilling rather like the start of a good horror movie in the Hammer tradition. One to watch!

A brave and brilliant start to the series Charlie. My heart broke thinking about you making your way home and sobbing in the shower. Your description of the passionate sex you shared that night feels honest and real, and the description of Laura's darker tendencies emerging made me want to shout out loud to warn you, especially as you pressed the send button on that text. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. I'm so proud of you!

This is a powerful opening, The sex was, as such sex tends to be, intense and arousing, but it is clear that Laura will use Charlie as she sees fit. I hope Charlie can adapt and survive or get out xxxxx
