Click here"Yeah, like you speak for the Renegades." Claire shot back with a smirk but her bravado was short lived.
"You know who I speak for. Do you want me to hi to your kids for you?"
CC dangled the keys and Claire snatched them.
"Fuck the lot of you." She blurted before she stomped back around the car, got in and drove away.
We watched the tail lights until they faded away in the dust. CC helped my mop up Bob's blood in the hallway. Then I jumped in the shower to clean myself. Both eyes were swollen and my nose was broken. I came out of the bathroom with a towel around my waist. I saw CC exiting the spare room wearing her riding leathers and holding her helmet.
"You're off then?"
"Yeah, sun's up now. Roo's should be easier to spot."
We both glanced around nervously. I think CC had hoped to be gone before I got out of the shower.
"Er, thanks for last night. Bob didn't seem like..."
"Bob's an arsehole but I don't think he would have killed you." CC interrupted. "Although with ice and shit, you just never know.
"Glad I didn't have to find out."
"Yeah I suppose. Anyway I'd better be going. All the best Nathan. Stay out of trouble."
She gave me a smile then walked out without looking back.
Author's note. Unfortunately due to factors outside my control Part 9 of Wedding Crashers (Epilogue) has not yet come back from my editor. I hope it will be available within the next week.
Shame the earlier parts had all that cucky fag nonsense. This has the bones of a good tale.
Another ugly, awful chapter.
Can't stop reading this tragedy.

This is not a great story as some make it out to be. I guess that depends on the character of the reader. Most comments were right on with their critique. Does it really matter what I think? Nah.
This is the first story I’ve commented on in awhile and I have to say…it had some twists I didn’t expect and some of th usual claptrap.
I liked that there was no “BTB” moment. He didn’t draw upon his special forces training or his IT/computer software engineering company to catch his wife and exact retribution.
However, you really hated both the wife and the husband to punish them the way you did. And how many times do we have to read about a wife being raped and just like that, she got off on being hurt. Like that happens.
As much as I dislike your protagonist, he didn’t deserve prison and turning him into a rapist was over the top. And yes, when Claire said stop, please don’t, and he proceeded to have sex with her, even when she was crying in her bedsheets, he showed us that at his core, he was nothing better than a common rapist.
The ending was about what I expected.
All in all, it was ok, better than most of the stories here but in someways….no better either and that’s a real shame because this could have been so much better.
