Of, I left out the best part. The bar trolling Doctor and her poor, put upon husband become their best friends? How in the name of hell does Dawn have a husband? She rags about him and on him every time he's mentioned. She trolls bars, apparently looking for customers. Are the customers for her business or are they her business? Did she bill Ann and Steve? Or did she do them? And then bill them? This was just a convoluted mess. Let's face it. Given the circumstances, Ann and Steve got divorced. And I would pray that Dawn's husband grew a pair and threw her nasty ass out and divorced her. While not badly written from a technical standpoint, this was just a god-awful ending. No stars.

I don't know how many times I've read this, and it's still good. What's the purpose of a story? To entertain the mind. involve the reader to one of the characters. The story has to be a realistic representation of life, or no one would be able to relate to it. The only thing I can find a problem with is that this type of communication error usually starts early in a marriage, not after 20 some years. Everything else is right inline with real time. Good Story.
