The YOUNG MAN and the GANGBANGERS begin to beat the boys.
The boys end up in the fetal position on the ground. One of
the GANGBANGERS begins urinating on the boys and the others
join in.
YOUNG MAN (CONT'D)

The boys get up and run out of the basement at top speed and
into the street heading for the 116th street subway station.
INT. SHARLENE'S UPTOWN BBQ JOINT, HARLEM - DAY
The YOUNG MAN is sitting in a booth waiting for his order to
arrive. CARL walks in and strides over to YOUNG MAN'S booth
and plops down across from him.
YOUNG MAN

those little crackers?
CARL

CHRIS

CHRIS

and drives off.
INT. TONY'S SUBURBAN - DAY
TONY is driving aimlessly, thinking about what actions to
take to counter JOHNNY SACK'S influence. He sees the Virgin
Mary statuette on his dashboard and addresses it.
TONY
(smiling)
Look at you sitting there, so
pretty and calm. Nothing bad ever
happens to you.
(beat)
