Consequently here are MLB requirements for umps and my comments on Country Joe
A High school diploma or G.E.D - probably what Joe had
At least 18 years of age - qualified in a previous century
20/20 vision - not even with a jumbo tron, and an earpiece
A healthy body and athletic mobility - REALLY
Strong communication skills - AGAIN REALLY
A driving record - need a getaway car
