The story of Jake's descent into cuck hell was disturbing. First his "friend" Hal drugs him and fucks his wife. He does NOTHING. Why didn't he go around and do something to him? Why didn't he contact Hal's wife and tell her? Nothing.

Why? I’m not sure. The first two had tension and true emotional conflict; the third, plenty of descriptive intercourse (perhaps too much) but no real involvement betwen Jake and Laura. What if she could have had her sexual experience in a way that built Jake up instead of tearing him down. Now that's a story I'd love to read. A story of love, redemption and sexual awakening. You can challenge cultural norms about sex without destroying the love between a couple. I would love to see a part 4 with redemption for Jake and Laura, and while we are at it Miranda and Lucas.

I was lukewarm regarding this story and gave it three stars. There were irritating writing errors that better editing could have corrected (minus one star). I don’t feel there was much originality in this story which seemed to drag on far too long and at too slow a pace.
