Click hereDad popped his head in to say that he was just taking the dog out and took a double take at Chloe. I assume Mum had told him I was bringing her back and it wasn't just for the convenience of public transport. He eyed her again and it was then I realised that he was silently approving of her. She was cute, but come on, ewww.
I heard my brother moving around upstairs and the next thing I knew he came downstairs as well. "Whole family," I said to Chloe, "So sorry."
"It is fine," she said smiling at my brother.
If Dad took a double take, then he took a triple take at her. He wouldn't know why she was there and would have assumed it was Hanna until he looked at her properly. His mind was probably running at a thousand miles an hour as he no doubt arrived at the reason she was there.
We had our breakfast and Chloe finally got to leave. She refused a lift home, we had a quick kiss on the doorstep and she left. I went back up to my room and closed the door. I hugged my knees and smiled. I flopped onto my side and kept the same stupid smile on my face. My sheets smelt of her perfume, and it was nice, really nice.
My phone lit up with a message.
Chloe -- Awesome night, thanks. Your family are cute
Me -- Yeah, it was nice. They are embarrassing
Chloe -- Nar, super cool, do they know we... er.. yeah
Me -- Mum does, I assume Dad does, brother probably does now
Chloe -- Awesome. So cool. Very awesome. Speak soon. XxX
Me - XxX
I skipped lunch but went down for dinner. "Who was she?" my brother asked casually.
"Chloe," I replied.
"And she is..." he asked. He suspected, but he just wanted to confirm it I think.
"A friend," I replied.
"Close friend?" he offered.
"Very close," I replied smiling at him.
"Fucking hell Sophie," he said grinning at me, "How hot is your girlfriend?" he asked.
"Language," Mum said in a monotone.
"Friend," I corrected.

Thanks for reading
This was great! An awesome addition to the series. So glad to see Sophie and Chloe reconnect.
I think the rating of 4 is much too low for this 5 star tale. Your characters are discernible, the ambience is what we your audience can relate to. I enjoyed the story 'twas almost relaxing.
