Nice. Just not for Randy. If you can't afford to lose, don't play. Are you sure his name wasn't LaValliere??
The BEAR
The dog returns to its vomit for one final taste. Randy is quite a portrait of amorality. Good riddance. Thanks for the new story. Is the next title an ‘A’?
Not enough detail for a complete story, more like a snippet from a larger work. 3.9*
Who was Cindy? Still a great story when a predatory asshole is taken out permanently.
Short and to the point. Story stands up well as it is. Would also work if expanded to include who hired the hitter. Pretty good story overall BardnotBard
It's an extreme BurnTheBastard short tale, but what about the real betrayer, the slut wife ?
Strangely I seem to like the assassin's game. This is how sexual predators should gets treated. But maybe this won't work if the predator is a rich man.

Thanks @moreandmore.
It's not clear that Randy knew Cindy was married. Vigilante justice isn't always just.
Gave this excellent short story 5 big stars. Having read all of the comments, I whole heartedly agree with each one . You have impressed some very successful writers and should be proud of your own achievements. Thanks
That was different. Would love to know how the guy found the asshole. 5 stars for this short, well written story. Bob
Darker than your usual work, M&M, but 750 makes telling the back story and details near impossible to (as others have said) lay out how the hitman found him -- and what, if anything, she experienced. Please keep them coming!
Those who piss on the 750 word efforts have obviously never tried it, and thus, they are unappreciative of the planning, the rewriting, the tweaking and the exercising of one's most obscure writing skills. It's one of the few writing exercises that makes you better as a writer. Instead, they expect a work with the scope of Tolstoy or Michener for the expenditure of 750 words. Pearls/Swine. Five Stars.
Story was great, Simple, to the point, and enjoyable, though dark.
But what stirred me was the 'Gun experts' who know the capabilities of the gun mentioned. Totally ridiculous. Yes we KNOW that gun does not come with a silencer,
I assume it was going to be a Luger until the anti-german group got involved, or an arrow to disturb the Apache,
and the Trebuchet in the original version, is a single-shot device, the experts would have had a field day dissembling and dissecting.
" you people know Far Too Much 'bout Guns. "
Great job on getting such a thrilling story using the 750 word limit. Five stars and a 👍
huh not sure what that was and wonder how many snuff reports u got from this lol
