So glad you decided to continue this story. You should be very proud of the fact that your first story submission is also your first Lit series. I like the fact that you gave Ashlynn a background and look forward to a future chapter that gives us more on Lord Eric. And just when it looks like things are looking up, here comes the "Bad Guy". I eagerly await your next chapter.

I have enjoyed these first couple of chapters. I like that despite not minding if she lives or dies intellectually, Ashlynn still has the instinct to fight and survive. If Eric shows a little compassion and dare I say humanity, she'll fall for him quickly.

I'm interested to know why she and her grandmother are special and what happened to her father. Keep up the slow and steady pace.
