This story orchestrates beautifully the sexing up of the trio and their crescendo moments, as the story weaves together an amusing variety of sex acts in an erotic rhythm that seems not forced (or formulaic) but natural. She takes us under the skin of a woman quickly and nicely in an opening masturbation scene, and she gave us telling details--and some alluring images--from a woman's perspective at the end. The sex never felt soulful or heart-centered enough to stir me fully as a reader (and the Mami/Papi dynamic did not hold my attention), but this erotica had music for me in its sex scenes.
