"Ok, well, I guess that I'll be off. I'll ring you later, ok?" Min gave a shout and Pam slipped her phone out of her pocket and began to press the keypad. A moment later she smiled at Alec and Minnie's phone gave a beep. Alec moved towards it, and Pam gave a growl. Alec began to laugh.

"Secret women's business, huh?" Pam sniffed, then came over and gave him a hug. She pressed her body close to him and Alec couldn't help but feel her breasts against his chest and his cock began to thicken. Pam made a noise and looked down and smiled. She winked at him as he cleared his throat, and left the room.

A moment later, Minnie came out of the shower, towelling her hair in the shirt and boxer shorts that she'd slept in. She was humming happily to herself as she towelled her black hair dry. Her movements slowed as she read down the pages of the letter again, on the bed. Alec was leaning against the windowsill, watching her.

The towel slipped out of her fingers and leant down to pick the letter up again, shaking her head. She moved over to Alec and stood very close to him. The fresh, clean scent of her hair and the scent of the soap rising from her skin edged into his awareness, and Alec felt himself shifting in his stance.

Minnie looked up at him, her curly hair framing her face. "You are wonderful. You are especially kind. Your heart gives me strength, your laugh gives others joy. Your presences brightens, your absence darkens. Your eyes enchant, and your soul enraptures."

"Where did you come up with this, Alec?" He smiled at her she stood very still, but his grin was weak and crooked.

"In case you haven't noticed, I didn't. It's just a description. Every woman deserves to know how wonderful they are occasionally. Most of the time, when they really need to." Minnie shook her head and let the papers fall to the floor. She leant against him and put her arms around his neck and pulled him down, cheek to cheek.

"You're the most wonderful friend I have, Alec..." Alec breathed in deeply, inhaling the very scent of her. Her face pushed against his and her head tilted up. There was a moment's hesitation, then their lips met gently. Min sighed against him, and her body slid up to align with his. Alec took a breath and leant back, but his arms were still tight around her.

"Thought we'd hate each other in the morning?" Min gave a quirky smile.

"It IS morning. Besides, Alec, this isn't an engagement. This is something between friends that may never happen again, but can happen now with no strings if you want it. I just need to feel wanted, I need to feel sexy, and..."

Alec cut her off as his arms tightened around her and his lips lowered to hungrily devour hers. Min's urgency fed Alec's lust, and their tongues twisted furiously around each other. Her fingers bent to scrape her nails down his neck and spine, and a shiver went through him.

Min's movements turned feral as she fought to bring him in closer. She surged up into his arms and her leg curled around to rub along the back of his calf. Alec's arms tightened around her waist, and then he leant back, his hands going to the hem of the shirt she wore.

His hands pushed it up to her chest, and his fingers sought and found her breasts. His thumbs grazed over her nipples, and Minnie gave a quick gasp and a low moan. Her head leant back, arching her chest up towards him. Alec leant down, bringing her up closer to him, and mouthed at her breast. The still taut flesh in his mouth tasted of soap and silk, and Alec moaned hungrily.

Min began to pant as Alec's arms moved, encircling her chest again as he picked her up. Her legs swung around, grasping his waist. Alec's hard cock slid up her groin, rubbing on her dark, curled hair. Fire raced along the shaft, and Alec shook.

He gasped as she wriggled her hips up and down, her dark patch of hair scrubbing against the red, full head of his cock. Alec shook, and Minnie pulled him down onto her. They landed on the floor, but neither truly noticed as Min rolled over, pulling Alec on top of her.

Alec moved back a bit, and their mouths parted as Alec slid down, then back up again, dragging her legs over his shoulders. Min reached down, panting, as she spread her lips wide and her hips began to quiver. Alec aimed his cock forwards and began to run his head up and down her openening.

Min wriggled frantically against him, trying to get him inside of her. Alec held himself for a moment, until she looked up, then surged forwards, pushing himself deep inside of her and kissing her. Minnie gave a loud moan into his mouth as his meat drove inside of her.

She felt tight around his shaft, and her legs pushed back against him, then she moaned again. Min's moans turned to cries of passion and lust as he began to surge his hips towards her. Min's eyes fluttered closed as their faces stayed inches apart, and Alec could feel her breath moving against his lips.

She laid back on the floor and moaned loudly as Alec settled into a rhythm. Her eyes rolled back into her head as his fingers encased her neck. He held onto her lightly, pulling her down gently as he thrust up inside of her. He could feel the tight heat around him clenching down as she shuddered. A half-smile twisted her lips as her breathing quickened.

Alec leant in close to her, arching his hips as he felt her mound rub against his curled hair. Minnie gasped, then gave a shriek, then shook. Her eyes opened, and she stared at him. "I'm so hard for you. You're so fucking sexy, I'll never forget this. You're making me so hot and horny, I just wanna fuck you so much."

He whispered to her, and her smile as she moaned drove him on further. He whispered to her more, telling her how she felt around his cock, how much he liked fucking. His own words started to get to him, and his drives quickened. Minnie was gasping and shrieking into his face, until he slid his hands up her back and grabbed her shoulders.

"Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me, ooh fucking jesus..." Minnie was panting in time with his thrusts, and she began to shake in his arms as his cock began to throb and jerk inside of her. Alec was roaring as Minnie screamed.

Alec drove his cock inside of her quickly, fucking her as he shook. His cock was exploding deep within her, and Alec felt wetness exploded against his stomach and groin. Minnie gave a high pitched wail and then collapsed. Alec slumped against her, then rolled over.

Their chests and hearts hammered, trying to catch their breath as they lay there. Alec looked down at his cock and chest. His stomach was covered in a thin sheen of sweat and cum, and his cock wept as it pulsed. Minnie lurched forwards, putting her head on his stomach.

He put his hand on her dark, curly hair, and felt it's silk as she mouthed and then inhaled his cock. She was moaning and humming, and Alec felt himself surging again. His cock burst as her teeth slid down the seam underneath, and he gave her another burst of cum. Her lips were incredible around him, and he shook and collapsed back down.

After a moment, Min sighed and rolled over, her head leaning on his stomach. She smiled at him ruefully, and Alec shook his head in wonder. "Now that wasn't..." Min gave a giggle as she sat up and ran her hand through her hair.

"Making love? No. Not quite. God damn, Alec. That was exactly what I needed." Alec didn't say anything and Min smiled to herself as she looked around. Her clothing from the night before was folded neatly on the chair. She stood up and began to pull it on. Alec slowly moved up and pulled the towel around his waist.

He stared at her, and she slowed as she got dressed. She turned around, and shook her head. "I don't want this to come between us, Alec. It was..." Alec smiled softly.

"Just two friends who needed and found something from the other?" Min smiled at him and pursed her lips.

"I know what I got from you. What did you get from me?" When he didn't answer, Min frowned. She stepped closer to him and put a hand on his chest. "Alec?" He smiled at her and looked away.

"I don't want things to get weird between us, either." His gray eyes slid back towards her.

Min sighed happily and ran her knuckle down the side of his face. She shook her head softly and smiled. Alec grinned at her and closed his eyes. "You can stay, if you like. I can sleep on the couch, or whatever."

She didn't answer him, but her hand left his cheek. Alec opened his eyes and Min looked away, but the smile was still on her face. "Oh, Alec. You made me feel so...so..." She searched for the words as she pulled her handbag over her shoulder.

"You made me realise that it's all worth fighting for. I AM wanted. I AM attractive. And I AM worth fighting for. And so is my marriage. I'll call you, ok?" The door closed behind her, and Alec sat down. How did he feel about sleeping with Minnie? He didn't know. He looked out the window of his hotel, and took a deep breath.

That night, he tossed and turned in bed a billion times. He heard his shouts and Jessica's sobbing, and felt like it was all happening over and over again. His alarm clock beeped at 9am, and he rolled over and stared at it, feeling as though he hadn't slept at all.

He walked into the bathroom, wondering why he'd set his alarm clock at all. He still felt strange, pent up, needing release. He wasn't horny; he just had energy to burn. He thought about going for a walk or something, then remembered that the hotel had a gym.

He marched downstairs in running slacks and a hooded jumper open at the front. The girl on the front door raised an eyebrow and took his jumper off him and gave him a towel. She smiled at him invitingly from under a mop of blonde curls, and he smiled sadly back.

He punished his body for the next three hours solid. He could feel the burn of his muscles straining against the weights and against the pull of his body. He worked out hard, he ran, he swam, he worked on the rowing machine, he steamed and he lifted. After three hours, he body was beginning to hurt, but in a good way.

He left again, and gave the girl at the front a tip as he collected his jumper. He ran back up the stairs, draining a bottle of water as he went. He came to his door and slipped the card down. The door unlocked and he stared at it for a moment, wondering how she'd gotten in last night. He shut the door and moved to the shower.

The water cascaded down his body and Alec smiled as he worked the soap and bodywash over himself. He was proud of the way he looked, but it was more than that. Hours with Jessica nowhere but in his head had destroyed his will to eat, or drink. Working out required focus and concentration, when he couldn't think like a love-sick teen.

There was a hollow tapping sound, and Alec began to dry himself off. He heard a woman calling his name, and wrapped the towel around his waist. He opened the hotel door, expecting to see Jessica or Minnie again, but instead, Jennifer stood there, dressed in jeans and a pale blue blouse and black jacket.

Her eyes widened, and her gaze instantly became riveted to his face. "Um, so are we still on for... um..." Alec blushed and nodded.

"Lunch, right." He ran his free hand through his hair, bringing it back away from his face. "Sorry, just let me get dressed." Jennifer shut the door behind her and blew out a breath she didn't realise she held. She picked his shirt up off the ground and poked her head around the corner.

"Are you decent?" Alec cleared his throat.

"Yeah, just, ah..." She walked around and smiled as Alec began to button his shirt up. He wore only his boxer briefs underneath, and out of the corner of her eye, Jen couldn't help but notice his abbs disappearing from sight.

"Dirty wash?" she asked, holding out his shirt. Alec jerked his chin in the direction of a pine basket he always carried with him from hotel to hotel for his laundry. Jen opened the lid, and frowned at the strange strips of stained wood on the underside, until the strong smell of sandalwood hit her, and she smiled.

Alec pulled his jeans on, and slipped his feet into some boots. He sat on the bed and stared down at the couch in the other room, and Jen sat down beside him. "So, what's up?" He smiled at her concern, and gave a half-hearted smile.

Jen sternly frowned at him, and he held out his hand as he stood up. She took it and held it. "C'mon, Alec, talk to me." He took a deep breath and fixed his collar as she watched him.

"Jessica. She came by. Well, more to the point, she was here when I got in. Waiting. It didn't exactly go well." Jen nodded slowly, and looked around at the room.

"At least no furniture was broken. Pottery never seems to survive my tantrums. So what happened?" Alec shook his head slowly.

"It was like waking up starving and the only thing to eat is rat poison. I gotta tell you, Jen, I wanted her so bad. I think she wanted me back too. She was so upset, because she saw who I'd been hanging out with. And then I just couldn't think of a single reason that I'd want to be with her anymore. And I still don't know how that feels."

Jen gave him a weak smile, and stood up, and he put a gentle hand on her shoulder. "I need a favour, Jen." She looked back at him over her shoulder and her eyes were shining, almost damp. A deep, gnawing feeling began to seep into Alec's guts. She rose her eyebrows and waited patiently.

"Does retail therapy work? I need a... a um..." Jen stared at him for a moment. Then she began to laugh.

"A makeover?" Alec frowned sternly, but smiled as he saw her begin to giggle.

"Well, I think a "do-over" is slightly more masculine. But yeah. Make me something new, will you Jen. You above all people know I'm not exactly wonderful in the style department." Jen nodded and took a deep breath.

"Sure. On one condition though. I need to go dancing tonight and let my hair down, and Kate's in town, so you're going to be chaperone again. Deal?" Alec grinned and nodded. He held out his hand.

"Deal."

*******

Four hours later, Alec was wandering down the street laden down with bags. When he'd told Jen that he wanted a makeover, he didn't realise that she intended to remake him in Ken's image. He refrained from calling her Barbie. Idly, he wondered what Pam was doing. Jen's phone rang, and she dug through her bag and pulled the flashing little clamshell open.

"Hey, what's up?" Alec rolled his shoulders and neck as Jen began to excitedly talk, to Kate he surmised, as they began to talk about the clubs in town that were looking decent and reputable. His fresh haircut had left small, tiny fragments of hair scratching down his neck.

His long blond hair was gone, shaved away in an extremely tight cut. It thinned out his face, and the stylist had told him it brought out his inner bad-boy. Until then, Alec hadn't actually known that he had one, and was pleased to make his acquaintance. He'd caught Jen eyeing him off from the corner of her eye a few times, and couldn't really be upset about it.

His gray eyes watched amusedly as a small crowd of tourists followed at a distance. Alec found a sudden grin and stuck two fingers above Jen's head and rabbit eared her to the awed fans. Jen turned as he looked away innocently, and hit him on the shoulder.

Alec smiled until they rounded a corner and bumped almost headlong into a group of school kids, looking around with wide eyes and pencils and pads. Almost as one, the kids screamed "Rachel!" Alec looked behind him, but Jen began to laugh.

"Ah, of course," he murmured, as Jen began to sign autographs. A tiny girl was edging from the back, holding up her pad with the biggest eyes he'd ever seen, and he smiled as he put the bags down. The little girl was straining, but Jen was swamped with the others. Alec reached out and tugged on the little girl's jacket. She turned and he smiled to her.

"Hi. I'm Alec. What's your name?" The girl stared at him suspiciously for a moment, and then took a cautious step closer.

"I'm Tamara. Do you know Rachel?" Alec solemnly nodded and held out his hand. The little girl shook it slowly and turned back to the swarm of squealing and giggling kids. She looked back at Alec, then turned back around and stepped right up close to him.

"You sound funny. Where are you from?" Alec cleared his throat and nodded seriously.

"You're right, I do sound funny. I'm from Australia." Tamara frowned and then her big eyes widened, and she reached out and patted him on the knee.

"I'm sorry about the Crocodile Hunter, Mr. Alec." Alec burst out laughing, and then covered his mouth as Tamara glared at him.

"Ah, thank you, that's very kind. Aren't you meant to be in school today? Or is this a field trip?" Tamara pointed to a middle aged man trying to get Jen to sign his wallet.

"That's Mr. Hargrove. Mr. Hargrove is our history teacher. We're learning about New York today." Alec nodded and took a breath, but the children suddenly let out a collective sigh of disappointment as Jen stood up.

"Sorry guys, but we're really in a hurry today." The kids all began to wave, and Tamara waved to Alec and giggled. "Looks like Jess's got some competition." Alec smiled at Jen, and picked up the bags.

"Yeah, well, I think its about high time I moved on from little Miss Simpson. I don't even want to think about that spoiled brat for a month. So I take it that was Kate?" Jen nodded as she smiled triumphantly. Alec frowned, but didn't press her. She didn't seem to be smiling much aside from that.

The press had been hounding her lately over Brad and Angelina's new adoption plans, as Jen still didn't have a man or a baby, and her clock was ticking. Alec's jaw clenched as he thought of the invasive questions she faced.

She was staring at him, and he gave her a smile. She held her hands out wide. "Well?" Alec shook himself.

"Sorry, I faded out for a second there. What was the question?"

"Are you up for a late one? Kate and Len have gotten a babysitter, and even Len's anxious for some down time. We're heading to The Nobody's Inn, Hinder's playing. Up for it?" Alec thought for a moment.

"I have no idea where or what the Nobody's Inn is, or who Hinder are, but absolutely." Jen grinned fantastically, and gestured up the street as she put her phone away. Alec smiled gently and dutifully started off with all that bags. He glanced at Jen as they moved up through the crowds, some of whom stopped to stare, or pretended not to.

She was absolutely gorgeous, there was no denying it. But there was just something else about her, that made him feel like he'd known her for his whole life, not just a short couple of months. She glanced at him, her blue-green eyes sparkling as she took in the cool air of the city.

"What?" Alec shook his head and faced forwards, but turned back after a moment.

"Can I ask you a personal question?" Jen smiled.

"Of course you can." Alec stared straight ahead for a while.

"Have you ever thought about...us? Like, as more than friends?" Jen's strides shortened, and Alec slowed accordingly. "I know, I shouldn't have asked, it's not really..."

"Yes. I have." She was looking straight ahead, and didn't meet his eyes. "You um... I mean, there's no-one in my life, or yours at the moment. Sometimes you can't help but wonder, you know? The whole what if thing. Minnie'd kill me if anything happened. She's planning on dumping Jamie for you, I think."

Alec laughed uncomfortably, and Jen smiled. "Well, I gotta be honest, I guess. Minnie's wonderful, she's really funny, but I've been thinking that uh... anyway." His cheeks and neck darkened, and he suddenly felt hot. "Um, look, I don't know much about the Nobody's Inn, but what time are we supposed to be there?"

Jen smiled to herself, and everything was alright between them again, the awkwardness gone. "Shortly, I guess. So happy to be chaperone for the evening?" Alec nodded and smiled as Jen perked back up again.
