Road pirates presents an interesting concept, a future in which there is a complete break down of law and the authorities give up trying to enforce order. It is regrettable that this item was pirates` only contribution. There is no erotica; the nudity presented is functional for a physical exam by a nurse. It supports the story line. The one criticism I can have of the story is that perspective switches three times from the runaway to the pirate to the RN. Generally it is believed in telling a short story there can only be one perspective character.
