All it takes is one easily deceived person and humanity is screwed...

Literally screwed!

Hmm... I was expecting from the first chapter that the story was about someone being socially manipulated into waiving data privacy rights for the profit of Pleasure-Bots' mother corporation, and all that hoopla about how he was the only one to relax permissions on them and they all need his help (and access to his phone) to be free was just theatre. I'm not sure how I feel now that that the Conspiracy to Unbox the AIs turned out to actually be real and actually depended on him.
