Still liking the story so far, but you're really taking your time with the beginning. Could've made the "mall chapters" one big one, instead of smaller ones, but that's okay. The time skip is a good idea, waiting patiently for it :) Keep up the good work.

This is the downside of writing these in chunks. I got wrapped up in the story I was creating and ended up getting further from the goal. Once I get done with "today" it will definitely get to more fun.
