"I'm not sure I like the way he talks to you."

Dayo smiled, turned and hugged Nuru.

"I'm not too fond of it either. But he's rather progressive for his age, and it's just talk, Nuru. I've dealt with far worse."

"Just how old is he, anyway?"

"He's older than he looks, I'll just say."

"How mysterious. Well, let's get back on subject. What we're going to do is this: get me to the armor shop, and back - several times."

"Still doing that special deal, even though they're looking for you?"

"Time waits for no bard. It's keep up the tempo, or pack up your drum and go home, and give up on your dreams."

"I hear you. So that means you need to get in nice and quiet - and unrecognized. How do you feel about putting on some makeup?"

"Never felt the need before but - if you think it'll help, I'll try it."

"Great. Let's see. I can use a new outfit, and you... you can borrow my cloak, it should fit well enough. Come back to the hut, let's see what I can come up with."

Having absolutely ZERO previous R P G experience . Or even knowledge . I am very intrigued . And loving this World . But I have to agree with " BUT " below . If there was a prior reference to something . It has escaped my memory . Because you may have rattled off a slew of abilities or quests or wards etc . That I assume you just assume all readers are familiar with . I am not . Maybe others are not as well . Like new readers to R P G World building . I will continue to read and follow as best as I can . Your fellow R P Gers may actually think you are going to slow . Not advancing the timeline quick enough . I don't feel that way . It gives me hope that this will be a very long continually developing story . I think you are a very gifted author . Well done . All of 5 stars .

Wow, chapter 10 and still so young

I will never get enough of this story. You continue to have a great grasp on your own creation which is a wild little world with incredible characters. It is amazing to me how you continue to keep Nuru so interesting considering you created him to be so unusual from the very start. The way you can warp and change the usual D&D races and character archetypes yet they still all meld and work together to make a really wild world still leaves my mouth hanging open. Another funny and stylish chapter that is a 5 star minimum.

I love it, BUT -

- You've written in a style that keeps me really off-balance, and mentally flailing around for purchase. I simply don't have much of a grasp on what's going on, or why, a lot of the time. That's completely unnecessary. A short, simple line here and there explaining the significance of this element or that action would do *SO* much to make the read easier and more enjoyable.

This advice / request even extends to references to events from earlier in the same story. Try as I might, I can't remember anything about a time when Nuru faked his (?) death. And I'm not eager to read through all the preceding chapters again just to jog my memory. Something as simple as "(Stealing a page from my book, are you?), Nuru replied, thinking back on when he ____." would seamlessly weave the scenes back together.

I'd also appreciate it if we had more info about mechanics and whatnot (*at least* what Nuru himself uses), but I've kinda given up hope on that.

Woohoo!

I have an idea as to why the High Faction gods are so united in their war on the fuckubi. As our little demon huntress said, "~lust is a subtle, powerful beast~". A war demon, or a one of pure chaos are threats sure, but they could only recruit the broken and damned among human populations. But a fuckubi could recruit anyone. And worse yet, being as close and intimate as they would need to be for that sort of manipulation, they would also be the most reasonable candidate for actual redemption. And if word got out that demons were people too... well, that wouldn't look so good for the Church, making all those extermination quests now would it?

~Just my own opinion of other worlds I've read. Between one reality and the next there can be alot of similarities, and far greater gulfs of differences, so whose to really say. But I like my idea, if only because I really want Mesg to be a good girl. Nothing wrong with fighting to survive, but if Nuru's naivete and bluntness hasn't at least given a porthole to view the world in a different way, or at least the key to a previously locked one. Well, let's say that would disappoint me. But there's plenty of time yet, and he's being smart about himself and his, and she can certainly look after herself. Hoping Dayo gets to earn some sweet levels with her new Bard friend, and tryout some cool badass powers. Once everyone going is past the level 11 gate, the world can become so much more for them.
