All Comments on 'Birdcage Ch. 05'

This chapter was disappointing. How quickly she forgot she hated him and is happy to throw herself at him. It makes zero sense. You had a strong character, but that's out the window now.

And he is not the type to apologize like that. At least that's not how you wrote his character before.

Again we're shown he has zero power.

Okay, wild guesses here.

1. 4 is an undercover agent trying to infiltrate and bring down this criminal organisation.

2. 4 never killed any girls, he made them disappear because he rescued them.

3. 4 is the white knight.

The chapter was too short.. not much changed from the last chapter.

I also prefer 4 as a strong and powerful character.

I'm also a bit confused, specially because we haven't been given much insight into 4's mind... You've throw us a curve ball for sure, I'm curious to see where the story goes!

I think you missed the point, try reading between the lines, I agree with the comments from LemonLimeBitters ; 4 is working undercover it’s the only thing that makes sense.

Thanks for all your comments and emails guys! Seems this chapter really split people down the middle. I know it was short and for that I can only apologise. I love writing this story and sometimes I’m just so excited to share it with you guys that I maybe post a little too early?

Those who understand what I’m going for with 4, thank you <3 he’s not a linear one dimensional character, he’s flawed and human! For those who say ‘he wouldn’t apologise, he’s too strong’ I wrote the bloody man so I would know LOL! Lots more explanation of his story coming very soon

Yeah everyone’s suspicions about 4 being a good guy getting girls out it prob accurate lol kinda disappointed with how weak he seems now... but I guess that’s the way it goes.. I was hoping for something a little darker from this like her being bought and trained to be a slave from some dirty old man... the search continues
