Loved the story, both parts, right up until the prolonged scene of drug use. Seriously, heavily off-putting. Couldn't continue after that. Such a shame.

This is the second time reading this one ( 6 months ago.) after a few paragraphs It eventually occurred to me suddenly, in a moment of déjà vu.

It’s a wonderful fantasy that has caused me speculate about how it might feel like to experiencing everything Jesse has up to this point in your tale; denial, fear, anger, pain, pleasure and finally - exceptance.
