Shame you used several 'homonyms' incorrectly!

Example - "A half hour before the end of the day, many of Candy's coworkers past her office door heading for the exit."

That should be 'passed'!

"Knowing she was alone, she kept her ear pealed for the sound ..."

That should be 'peeled'!

Homonyms aside, that was a very hot story.
