As far as the men on the bridge knew Killian was now locked in there with them, I had to warn them.

With Quinn's one leg, he was going to be no help, and besides he had another job to do. He was busying himself by removing a wall panel. Behind it was the air supply to the canteen, which he was about to cut.

"I've got to warm them."

"Use the comms."

"Killian might be listening," I said and kicked off my heels.

I raced now through this miserable ship, my bare feet pounding on the freezing metal deck.

**********

"Killian isn't dead," I said, as I burst onto the bridge.

"You're kidding," Urriah said, "Where is he?"

"In his quarters," I said, breathlessly.

There were the five men here, all the ones that were in on the plan. Even though the rest who were in other parts of the ship might be loyal with Killian gone. That might be a different story with him still alive. For hardened pirates, I felt a great amount of tension and insecurity in the room.

"We should just rush him," one of them suggested and drew his laser pistol.

"We can't all leave the bridge," Urriah said. That was true, holding the bridge was key to any mutiny.

"Let me do it," I said, "he won't suspect me."

He shook his head. The other men didn't look convinced either.

"Give me half an hour," I said.

Finally, he relented and gave me the nod.

My heart was racing as I made the short trip to the quarters of the man who had brought me here and made my life a misery.

"Finished dancing already," he said, from his desk.

"I thought I should return this, Sir," I said and held up the locker key. I could see his laser pistol on the desk next to him. He would be too quick for me if I tried to snatch it.

"Good girl. Leave it on the side, and get your ass back down to my men."

I nodded, "May I have another kiss, Sir, before I go?"

He laughed and swivelled his chair around to face me. "What's got into you tonight girl?"

"Entertaining the men is fun, but sometimes I need a real man, Sir."

"Go on," he said with a sly smile.

I slowly made my way over to the bed, and as I did he got up from his chair.

"You were my first man, Sir, a girl doesn't forget that."

That was what he wanted to hear, and with a firm shove, he pushed me onto the bed. I spread my legs and he yanked his trousers down.

"Fuck me, Sir," I groaned as he covered me with his body. In seconds his cock was rubbing against my pussy.

"Just like the first time," he said, as he pushed into my slit.

"Ahh," I moaned feeling him enter me.

He wrapped his hand around my throat as he began to pound me against the bed. The warm feeling between my legs was there but it was short and quick. He had always liked my submissive side, and tonight was no different. He came moments later with a huff.

"I better get back to the men, Sir," I said and slipped from his grasp. He made no move to stop me.

"Maybe I will come down later, after all," he said as he lay on the bed pulling his trousers back up. The laser pistol was on the desk, and it felt heavy as I picked it up.

As soon as he saw what I was doing a look of panic washed over his face. I was pointing it at him now.

"Put that gun down, girl, right now." His voice was loud and filled the room.

"You won't leave this ship alive," he said, and suddenly pounced.

I aimed at the centre of his broad chest. "Fuck you," I said and pulled the trigger. The room was suddenly filled with light as the gun kicked hard in my hands. Killian was thrown back against the wall and then slumped onto the bed. Through the smoke, I could see that he was still alive. He was a big man after all. I watched him struggling to breathe. His eyes were on mine. I was about to shoot him again, but instead, I watched the life draining from him.

***********

"Killian is dead," I said, as I returned to the bridge.

Urriah was sitting in the command chair, and he smiled. "It's done then."

I watched from the back as he opened a comm channel to the rest of the ship and told them what had just taken place. He told all loyal crew to report to the bridge.

One thing we had never discussed was my position in the new scheme of things. I had never brought it up and neither had Urriah. I knew though that I was not just going to be set free, while the other men who were loyal to him might have hated Killian, but that didn't mean they were suddenly on my side. With no rank or position, I could easily just become the pleasure girl again. It was time to make a choice now.

I went over to Urriah and sat in his lap. I wrapped my arm around him tightly. I wanted the other men to know that I belonged to him now. This was the perfect place to do it.

"We did it, Captain," I whispered into his ear.

The next few hours went as well as expected. All the remaining men swore their loyalty to Urriah and I watched the scene from my place in his lap. Killian and the dead men in the canteen were unceremoniously dumped into space.

Urriah took Killian's old quarters as his own. He also took me as his lover. I would still entertain the men, but I would live with him now. He wanted me close not just because he liked my company, but because he trusted my advice. I had been an officer and he respected that somewhat.

I told him I would keep my ears open to any discomfort amongst the crew. This pleased him too as someone else might get the idea to stage a mutiny.

One thing that he knew he had to do was to hire more men. Not only to replace the missing crew but to consolidate power. The new men would have no grudges about the change in leadership, and be completely loyal to Urriah.

***********

A week had passed since the mutiny. After the initial excitement things had calmed down somewhat, and things were going back to a type of normal. Whilst I was still sharing a bed with the other men. This time it was on my terms. It helped that Urriah and I now shared quarters, it meant that it was a perfect place to escape to without any disturbance.

Of the original crew, only fifteen remained. Not a big number, but they still had to be kept in check and made happy. Urriah handled the order while I handled their other needs. I belonged to Urriah though, and I always made that clear when he was present. He didn't mind my other duties and always loved it when I revealed what the men were thinking and talking about. I shared all their secrets and bedroom confessions with him.

With a smaller crew people were a lot busier now and I convinced Urriah to let me work on the bridge. Instead of my usual skimpy outfits, I wore a pair of filthy old coveralls. In my words so I didn't distract the men.

We were about to stop off at a planet called Ferrin. It was where were going to recruit the new crew. The Spartan was too large to land on the planet and instead would be waiting in orbit while Urriah and a few others would go to the surface to recruit. He was hoping to get at least twenty more men to join us.

Meanwhile, I was busy with Quinn preparing for the new arrivals. I had made a plan with Urriah for a new type of recreation room to be put together. We found a decent-sized room and I spent the whole day scrubbing and cleaning it. With Quinn's help, we moved some old sofas in there and made a kind of stage in the middle of the room. We made a makeshift bar out of a couple of upturned crates. He strung up some light across the ceiling and added some more furnishings. It didn't look great but it was a lot comfier than the canteen and cleaner too.

I had explained to Urriah that with all the new men it was better to set a new set of rules for how they spent their free time. Instead of me going around and seeing the men individually I would host them in this room. If they performed well, they would be given access, and if not they would be denied entry. It was a lot more subtle than when Killian had kept my services from the whole crew just to punish a few. It would give them a strong incentive to behave. The lockers containing the booze were moved in here, and the key now hung from a chain around my neck.

When Urriah returned I was in our quarters applying my makeup.

"How did it go?"

"Well," he said and told me he had managed to recruit twenty-five. "All from the detention facility."

"Did you pick our six of the strongest ones?"

"I did, they are waiting in the rec room."

"Good," I said, quietly and finished putting on my lipstick.

He told me they were quite rough and hadn't seen a woman in a long time. I told him I was fine and that this was the perfect way to sound them out. What we didn't want was for them to jump ship at the first opportunity or cause any discord amongst the rest of the crew. I also wanted them to make sure they knew how things would work around here.

He had been right, they looked very unkempt and dishevelled when I arrived in my best dress. To them, I looked like the perfect woman. Blonde busty, and available.

"I'm Talia, the Captain's consort."

They grinned at each other.

"Are you here to welcome us to the ship?"

"That's right boys," I said, with my hip at a jaunty angle. I explained what this place was and how good behaviour aboard the ship got them access. Then I asked them who would like a drink.

They all nodded.

After putting on some music, I retrieved a bottle and gave it to a man called Dekon to pass around. He was the largest of the six and like the others, his eyes couldn't get enough of me. Their lustful stares didn't faze me. My treatment on this ship had made me numb to such things.

As I climbed up onto the little stage I told them I was the only woman on the ship.

"If you treat me well, I will treat you well," I said and began to unzip my dress.

They took large swigs of alcohol as I peeled off my dress to reveal my matching black underwear. I swayed my body to the beat of the music and locked eyes with each man in turn. This was now my domain and I had to keep control

"It's been a long time since you have seen a woman isn't it?" I asked and hooked my thumbs into my bra straps.

"Too long," one of them mumbled.

I removed my bra slowly and as I dropped it to the floor I ran my hands through my long blonde hair.

One of them couldn't take it any longer and sprang up from his seat.

"Sit back down," I said playfully.

He was well over six feet tall and built like a brick wall. He would have easily taken me if he wanted, but my words made him pause.

"Sit back down," Dekon said, firmly and told him to wait his turn.

I laughed it off and began to run my hands up and down my body.

"There's plenty of me for everyone," I said as I gave my breasts a little jiggle.

I couldn't tease them all night like this, and stepped off the stage, much to their delight. I walked over to the man who had tried to jump the queue. I swayed my hips in an exaggerated motion and kept his eyes locked with mine.

"I belong to the Captain, but in here I am yours," I said as I lowered myself to my knees.

He looked delighted as I ran my hands over his thighs.

"Are you going to be a good boy for me?"

He nodded.

I didn't need to ask the others, their answers would be the same. It didn't matter what order they went in now, as long as they knew they would be getting me.

After I fellated him I took a swig of the booze. I was going to have to pace myself as twenty-five men had come aboard and this was going to be a busy night for me.

**********

Things were going well onboard the Spartan. After a month the new crew were fitting in well. The rec room was busy and once everyone had gotten used to how it worked I lived a more peaceful life. I was no longer being hassled in the corridors and even Quinn had stopped groping me in the canteen.

One thing that I was learning was that even though it was Urriah that was letting the men have their time with me, it was me with the real power. I could make it as impersonal or as intense as I liked. In return, the men realised that making me happy would make their time in there more enjoyable. Even the ones from the original crew stated to appreciate that. One even made me a small gift of a bracelet.

As I walked through the corridors, I would be greeted with smiles, and I even noticed a few respectful nods from time to time.

Killian had told me I would learn my place. He had been right, I was, but I was now starting to wonder just how far I could take it.

I was with Urriah on the bridge one day when we came across a small merchant vessel. It was a perfect target for us

"Close in," Urriah ordered.

Something didn't feel right though. We would be on their sensors by now, but I could still hear their comms chatter.

"No," I called out, "We need to back off."

"What?"

"It's a trap," I said, quickly.

He thought about it for a few seconds and then confirmed my order. Our emergency thrusters powered to life, and as they did a swarm of missiles were launched from the insignificant ship. Luckily we managed to avoid the brunt of the attack. Sometimes the corporations that ran the transports set traps like this to destroy unsuspecting pirates.

That night Urriah thanked me for my quick thinking. In private a lot of the crew thanked me also, and the gossip quickly spread that I had saved not only the ship but their lives. It wasn't the only story that I heard and encouraged. There were the events of the mutiny that was talked about in private. While it had been Urriah who had taken the ship there were those among us that knew it was me that had killed the previous captain. At the time I hadn't thought too much about my role in it, but these men did.

Money was still an issue. I had started to hear grumblings about pay. My deal with Urriah had been that I let him know about this chatter, but secretly I kept it from him, and instead, I started to sympathize with the mens plight.

*************

More time passed and it seemed like we were cursed with the lack of potential targets. Urriah had told me he had sent a message to the man called Abbott, about setting up a new deal.

"He might be interested, now that Killian is gone."

Then our luck changed. We picked up a long-range shuttle on our sensors. It was a short fight as they put up a very weak defence. There were only three people onboard. A husband with his wife and daughter. More importantly, though, they were wealthy and would fetch a good ransom.

We would take them to a planet called Torbe. There were people there that acted as middlemen in selling hostages. It was easier than trying to contact the families ourselves.

I convinced Urriah to keep the women unharmed, as it might affect their ransom. He put them in the cages with a permanent guard.

The men of course grumbled about that, and I did my best to encourage it. Not in an overt way, and I would certainly not utter the words mutiny, but that was what I was thinking. Even though I lived in a more privileged position, I still had men slobbering over me, and I was not as free as I would like to have thought.

I even began a rumour that Urriah had once visited with one of the female hostages in private. It was easy to do and once it spread no one remembered who had originated it. It added to the ill feeling I was creating.

The frustrations of the crew were reaching boiling point as we neared Torbe. The last piece of disinformation that I spread was that a list was being created. Those on it were going to be put off the ship and would forfeit their share in the money from the hostages. I was careful with this rumour though, and only told a selected handful of men. Ones that when it came to it, might be loyal towards me.

Then on a quiet night, I put my plan into action.

As I returned from the rec room I found Urriah alone in our quarters

"Someone has been killed," I said, as I entered.

"Who?" Urriah asked, quickly.

"You better come with me," I said, quietly, and went back into the corridor. I told him not to alert anyone, and that we should keep it between ourselves for now.

Hurriedly I led him through the ship. It was late and not many people were about.

"In there," I said, stopping at an airlock.

He rushed into and examined the pile of laundry I had placed there. I hit the controls and saw the look on his face as he realised what he was seeing. I stared through the tiny window as he tried in desperation to work the controls on his side. Then he started to silently shout and bang on the bulkhead. An alarm would have sounded had I depressurised it. What Urriah didn't know as he clawed at the window was that I had jammed up the vents in there. When he finally realised it was too late and after five minutes he finally collapsed. He was dead.

I opened the door and retrieved the keys to the weapons locker.

It was so much less bloody than Killian's death, but no less impactful. This time I didn't have any allies or conspirators. As far as the ship knew he was still the Captain. That was going to change tonight.

I went to Dekon's room first and woke him.

"Be in my quarters in half an hour," I said, to him as he roused. Twice more I did this to other members of the crew.

The three men assembled in my room promptly and were just a little bit confused. All three of them were men from Ferrin, and I knew that they liked me. Not just sexually, but personally. We had drunk laughed and joked in the rec room in a way Urriah never did with them. It wasn't just that either. They were very inexperienced in space travel. Two of them had never left the planet while the other only had a little experience on a transport.

On the desk, I laid out three laser pistols.

"The Captain has had an accident," I said, "He is dead."

They looked at each other sheepishly, not knowing what to say.

"There are men on this ship who will want to take advantage of that, there will be arguments and disagreements about who might take over. It will be bloody and violent. It's my feeling that I take over for the time being and take us to Torbe, so at least we can be paid for once."

I explained how I was an experienced officer, so it wouldn't be too hard for me to command. They smiled at that. This ship was an alien world to them. They could follow orders and fight, but commanding a spaceship wasn't something they could do easily.

"Also I was thinking that those girls in the hold be put to work in the rec room. What do you think Dekon, would you like that?"

He nodded with a smile. He was a brutish and slow-witted man, but easily led. I told them to pick up a pistol each.

"We have to secure the bridge."

In unison, they nodded. This all had to happen quickly and it helped they were still half asleep and still coming to terms with things.

"Come on then," I said and picked up my gun.

It was quiet when we got there and there were only five on duty. Our guns were raised, and I ordered everyone to move back from the consoles. Out of the group, one of them was from Kilian's original crew. I shot him in the head. As his body fell the others tried to run but were stopped by Dekon and the other two.

"Urriah is dead, I am the Captain now," I said, bluntly.

Of the remaining men, only one didn't nod an acknowledgment. He might have been that he disagreed or was just bewildered by the whole thing. There was no time to check, and he was the next man that I shot. Now the air had a burnt smell to it.

I went to Dekon now. I handed him the key to the gun lockers.

"I want you to give out weapons to these men," I said and gave him a small list of names. "Tell them what has happened, arm them, and bring them here. Be quick."

He nodded and for such a thuggish man I saw the unease in his eyes. He was following my orders and that was the most important thing.

For an hour everything hung in silence, and only the pounding of my heart kept me alert.
